{"id":2625,"date":"2013-06-07T11:37:23","date_gmt":"2013-06-07T11:37:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/product\/woo-album-4\/"},"modified":"2023-08-22T22:35:02","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T22:35:02","slug":"gestao-de-alojamento-local","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/en\/product\/gestao-de-alojamento-local\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Accomodation Magament"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Main Goals<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide the trainees with theoretical and technical knowledge about local accommodation, as well as management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific goals<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpret the legal framework governing Local Accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>Understand the registration, licensing and communication process;<\/li>\n<li>Use the different digital platforms for promotion and dissemination;<\/li>\n<li>Define an adequate and fair pricing policy;<\/li>\n<li>Identify and apply standards of good hospitality practices;<\/li>\n<li>Manage complaints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modules| Syllabus (Total 32 horas):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Module I:<strong> Tourism in the Azores<\/strong><strong> (6 hours):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Types of tourist developments in the Region;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of statistical data on the evolution of tourism in the Azores;<\/li>\n<li>Differences in legislation between the Azores and mainland Portugal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module II: <strong>Legalization of Local Accommodation\u00a0<\/strong><strong>(6 hours)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysis of housing conditions and requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the necessary documentation;<\/li>\n<li>File entry with the City Council;<\/li>\n<li>License inspection and acquisition process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module III: <strong>Prices, Calendars, Internal Management<\/strong><strong> (6 hours):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Market analysis and price fixing per night;<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning, shopping, presentation and maintenance of accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>The importance of the photos and description of the accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>Management of reservation calendar, cleaning, prices \u200b\u200band commissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module IV:<strong> Dissemination Channels <\/strong><strong>(6 hours):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysis of different online dissemination channels and their differences;<\/li>\n<li>Registration and maintenance of each channel;<\/li>\n<li>What are \u201cchannel-managers\u201d and what they are for;<\/li>\n<li>The importance of reviews.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module V:<strong> Check-in Process and Booking Monitoring <\/strong><strong>(6 hours):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simulation of check-in at a local accommodation (leaving the training\/assessment facilities);<\/li>\n<li>Prior notice to the customer about the check-in procedure;<\/li>\n<li>Reservation monitoring and successful check-out guarantee;<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory communications to SEF and SREA;<\/li>\n<li>Written assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To whom is intended:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Owners of short-term accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>Managers\/Administrators of Local Accommodation units;<\/li>\n<li>Tourism professionals;<\/li>\n<li>People who want to start managing Local Accommodation units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teaching methods:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The methods and techniques applied in the training action will be suitable for the target audience. The training will have the following methodologies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lecture Method: The teacher will use this method in order to expose the main themes and key concepts to be addressed throughout the session;<\/li>\n<li>Interrogative Method: The teacher will ask questions to the trainees, inducing their reflection on the topics covered, in order to allow a better consolidation of the key concepts acquired;<\/li>\n<li>Active Method: The use of this method will give trainees a central role in the systematization of the contents. To this end, activities will be developed using the discussion of ideas, exercises to consolidate knowledge and case studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the application of the pedagogical methods, the following techniques will be applied: exposition, questioning, debate, hands-on exercises, brainstorming, case studies, among others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment Methodology:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regarding the assessment methodology, it is intended that the course includes two dimensions of student assessment: formative assessment and summative assessment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formative assessment refers to the assessment to be carried out throughout the course, by monitoring the trainees&#8217; learning in terms of acquired knowledge. Such monitoring will be done through knowledge consolidation exercises, consolidation questions, among others. This evaluation component is 70% of the course\u2019s final grade.<\/li>\n<li>The summative assessment will be carried out through an assessment exercise &#8211; case study -, taking place at the end of the course, consolidating all acquired knowledge. This evaluation component is 30% of the course\u2019s final grade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The scale used in the systematization and final assessment exercises applied will be expressed in quantitative terms on a scale from 1 to 5 and will be convertible to a qualitative scale of 1 &#8211; Very Insufficient, 2 &#8211; Insufficient, 3 &#8211; Sufficient, 4 &#8211; Good and 5 &#8211; Very good.<\/p>\n<p>The classification given to the trainees at the end of the course translates into: &#8220;Have been successful&#8221; and &#8220;Not successful&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>A trainee is considered successful in the course when his\/her final classification is equal to or greater than 3, corresponding in qualitative terms to \u201cSufficient\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The success of trainees in the course is also subject to verification of attendance, which should be 95% given its continuous nature.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Form of training<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forms of organization:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Used space:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Room with good light, ventilation, temperature and isolated from disturbing noises for the proper functioning of the class;<\/li>\n<li>Possibility of making the room darker, in order to watch video projections;<\/li>\n<li>Space equipped with all the necessary teaching resources;<\/li>\n<li>Furniture that respects the ergonomics rules of trainers and trainees;<\/li>\n<li>Big enough space (minimum 2 m2\/trainee) to allow the arrangement of tables in \u201cU\u201d shape, in order to facilitate communication, as well as the implementation of group dynamics;<\/li>\n<li>Easy access location and in good health and safety conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teaching resources:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer with Internet Connection;<\/li>\n<li>Whiteboard;<\/li>\n<li>Colored pens;<\/li>\n<li>Projector;<\/li>\n<li>Notepad;<\/li>\n<li>Writing material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supporting Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the course, trainees will be provided with a set of support materials, namely, PowerPoint presentation (used by the trainer) and knowledge consolidation tools, considered essential.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3580,"template":"","meta":{"_vp_format_video_url":"","_vp_image_focal_point":[]},"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product\/2625"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/product"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3580"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/cempa.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2625"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
