On August 22, 2022, the CEmpA Azorean Business Center celebrated its 7th anniversary. The event featured an executive breakfast that brought together entrepreneurs, business owners, and CEmpA partners for networking and to share knowledge and experiences.

According to statements from the recently appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Júlia Sousa Pedro Medeiros, “this seventh anniversary has special significance, given the fact that CEmpA is finally in negotiations to expand its facilities, materializing a long-identified ambition and need.” Medeiros continued, “CEmpA is a consolidated project, but one in continuous evolution, having shown signs of its sustainability and relevance over the years.” She went on to assure that CEmpA “intends to continue to establish itself as a true hub for entrepreneurship, welcoming more entrepreneurs and companies, helping them develop their business ideas, and continuously seeking to strengthen its institutional partnerships.”

The CEmpA Azorean Business Center is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and business activity in the Autonomous Region of the Azores. It currently hosts 30 companies and entities on a permanent basis across various types of business spaces. The core businesses of the companies located at CEmpA range from architecture, accounting, and taxation to engineering, workplace health and safety services, tourism, real estate, design, and communication, among other services.
